Located on a wide boulevard once known as Victory Avenue, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur was first built in the 1930s and, during its hey-day, ranked as one of Southeast Asia’s grandest hotels.
Now, with its re-opening in December 2012, it is poised to reclaim this former glory. The hotel’s piece-de-résistance will be the Majestic Wing, which boasts neo-classical details that have been meticulously restored.
The Majestic Hotel has a few outdoor options for garden ceremony
The Majestic Hotel has a few outdoor options for a garden ceremony. Besides the orchid conservatory (which can only accommodate a maximum of 30 pax), the roof garden and lawn are other options for an outdoor ceremony. Both can entertain up to 100 guests. Because the majestic hotel faces east, an evening ceremony may be better suited for the lawn to avoid sweltering in the morning sun.
The Majestic Hotel KL has 2 main areas for wedding, namely: the canopy (fits 15 tables comfortably), or the Majestic Ballroom which can accommodate up to 125 tables. There are also 13 other function rooms for events to suit almost every guest count. A rental fee is required for use of the orchid conservatory, lawn or the rooftop.
