1. Double happiness cold & hot platter

Rating

This dish comprises four main components, featuring a blend of fish balls, prawn balls, jellyfish, etc. The original dish is characterized by a sour and spicy flavor, which doesn’t align with our family’s taste preferences. Following our feedback, Sifu recommended incorporating a more oriental flavor. We didn’t like the bling bling thing …

  • Thai sauce
  • Prawnball
  • Jellyfish
  • Green pea bean

2. Abalone Happiness Soup

Rating

Each person will receive a bowl of meticulously boiled soup, with each bowl containing an individual abalone and other ingredients. There has been no feedback from the family, particularly from our soup-loving parents. Five star from our parents !

  • Abalone
  • Pak Choy
  • FooChuk Wrap
  • 高Soup

3. Duck & Chicken combination platter

Rating

This is the most ‘bagus’ option; the duck has a subtly salty flavor overall, and the chicken skin is perfectly roasted for maximum crispiness. The average chicken size is approximately 1.2kg, depending on the distributor’s availability. The plating could use some improvement, and we suggested adding prawn crackers to give it a fluffier appearance.

  • Slow roasted chicken
  • Slow roasted duck
  • Slightly salty
  • Very Crispy !

4. Grouper Special Mixed Soy Sauce Steam Fish

Rating

Absolutely no comments on this one; we were informed that the actual serving will be just as substantial. Their fish sizes range from 1.2kg to 1.4kg, depending on the catch. A 5-star remark for this!

  • Grouper
  • Soy Sauce
  • Spring onion

5. Pavilion Gam Heong Prawn

Rating

If you enjoy spicy and curry flavors, this is the ideal dish. However, our family believes it is overwhelmed by the intensity of curry powder, turmeric, and chili flakes. We suggested a more conventional option like salted egg prawns.

  • L sized tiger prawn
  • Spicy
  • Turmeric & spicy flavour
  • Chili

6. The Prosperity bag : Kids favourite

Rating

No comments on this dish; the overall taste is acceptable. The filling for the ‘prosper’ packet seems to lean towards the sweeter side, but it depends on individual taste buds. We’ll customize this with the chef later on.

  • Sweet sauce
  • Mushroom
  • FooChuk Wrap

7. Golden Floss Jasmine Fried Rice

Rating

This can’t go wrong; even Uncle Roger would give it a full thumbs up. The portion seems just right. We doubt this dish will go unfinished in the end.

  • Jasmine fried rice
  • Egg
  • Small prawn
  • Great amount of spring onion

8. Dragon year special : Dragon Sago puree

Rating

Not too sweet—very good! Dragon fruit is the ideal fruit for those seeking a healthy solution. I believe by the end of the event, I will have already greeted everyone at the exit door.

  • Dragon fruit
  • Sago
  • Yam juice
  • Not too sweet

9. Double Happiness Pastry

Rating

Tastes very nice! What we love about Pavilion KL’s food is that the dessert is not overpowered by sweetness. The apple is meant for decoration only, but you can try the apple floss.

  • Apple
  • Pumpkin filled pastry
  • Lotus seed filled pastry
